I recommend that all clients attend the inspection if possible. Attending your inspection will give you first hand comprehensive information about your prospective home and any issues mentioned within your inspection report. In addition to inspecting the home, I will educate you about the house, encourage your questions, and show you the locations of major systems and components (i.e. water meter location and important shut off valves, etc.) This is an important opportunity for you to receive a wealth of information and a detailed orientation to the home.

• Your inspection will take two to three hours so set this time aside. 
• Limit extra guests to someone you trust to help you ask questions or understand inspection information. If possible schedule a babysitter if you have children.
• Dress for our rainy climate.
• Check that all utilities will be on.
• Take notes ask questions.
